This Privacy Policy explains how information is used in Rice Station, an app developed by Doğancan Özdemir.

1. Information held by the developer

As the developer, I do not collect or store in-game user data on my own servers. You do not need to create a separate user account to use the app.

Game progress, in-game money, reputation, inventory, unlocked districts, purchased goal items, day information, statistics, and language, sound, haptic feedback and tutorial preferences are stored on your device.

Information processing by the Meta and Apple services used in the app is explained separately below.

2. Meta app statistics

The app uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure app installation and activation statistics. It does not request tracking permission through ATT and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).

To produce these statistics and operate the service, the Meta SDK may process the following information:

• App installation and activation events;
• event timestamps;
• device, operating system and app version information;
• technical identifiers generated by the SDK and connection information such as an IP address;
• error and performance information, where available.

This information is not stored on the developer’s own servers. Meta’s processing is subject to the configuration of the service and Meta’s privacy terms.

Under the app’s current configuration, users are not tracked by matching their data with information from other companies’ apps and websites for advertising purposes.

3. Game Center

When you use Game Center, your highest in-game cash balance may be submitted to Apple as a score. Your Game Center player identifier is processed to provide this feature. Your Game Center nickname, score and ranking may be visible to other players on leaderboards.

Game Center data, account information and sharing preferences are managed by Apple. The app’s core gameplay features can also be used without signing in to Game Center.

4. Data storage and deletion

Local game data is stored on your device. Starting a new career through the “New Game” option resets your current career progress. This does not delete your app preferences or Game Center high score.

You can remove the app’s local data by completely deleting the app from your device. These actions do not automatically delete device backups or information held in Meta’s or Apple’s systems. Device backups are managed separately through your Apple account and device backup settings.

The retention and deletion of information processed by Meta and Apple are subject to the relevant services’ terms. Third-party services used in the app are required to provide the level of protection described in this policy and required by applicable privacy rules.

You can manage your Game Center usage and privacy preferences in your device’s Game Center settings. Signing out of Game Center does not automatically delete scores that have already been submitted.

5. Contact and privacy requests

You can send questions about privacy, requests for access, correction or deletion, or requests to withdraw consent you have given to [email protected].

Because the developer does not hold in-game user records on their own servers, there is no game account or user profile to delete from those servers. Requests concerning information managed by Meta or Apple may need to be submitted through the relevant provider’s privacy request channels. You can contact the developer for help identifying the appropriate channel.

When you contact the developer by email, the email address and message content you voluntarily provide are used to review and respond to your request. Correspondence may be retained for as long as necessary to follow up on the request and meet any applicable legal obligations.

6. Children’s privacy

The app is intended for a general audience. Its appropriate age range is indicated by its App Store age rating. Children are not asked to enter information such as their name, phone number or email address to play the game.

7. Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are taken to protect information against unauthorized access, loss and misuse.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app or the services it uses. The current policy and its last updated date will be published on this page.
