This Privacy Policy explains how data is used in Estate Tycoon, an app developed by Doğancan Özdemir.

1. Data held by the developer

As the developer, I do not collect or store in-game user data on my own servers. You do not need to create a separate user account to use the app.

Your game progress, in-game currency, property listings, investments, branches, employee progression, in-game day information, and app preferences are stored on your device. The character and office names you choose are also part of your local game save.

Data processing by Apple through Game Center is explained below.

2. Game Center

When you use Game Center, your scores may be sent to Apple. Your Game Center nickname, scores, and ranking may be visible to other players on leaderboards.

Game Center data, account information, and sharing preferences are managed by Apple. The app’s core gameplay features can be used without signing in to Game Center.

3. Data retention and deletion

Local game data is stored on your device. When you select “Start New Agent” and confirm, your current game progress is reset. You can remove the app’s local data by fully deleting the app from your device.

These actions do not automatically delete device backups or data held by Apple in its own systems. Device backups are managed separately through your Apple Account and device backup settings.

The retention and deletion of data processed by Apple are subject to the terms of the relevant services. Third-party services used in the app are required to provide the level of protection described in this policy and required by applicable privacy rules.

You can manage your Game Center use and privacy preferences in your device’s Game Center settings. Signing out of Game Center does not automatically delete scores that have already been submitted.

4. Contact and privacy requests

You can send privacy questions and requests to access, correct, or delete your data, or withdraw permission you have given, to [email protected].

Because the developer does not maintain in-game user records on their own servers, there is no game account or user profile that can be deleted from those servers. Requests concerning data managed by Apple may need to be submitted through Apple’s privacy request channels. You can contact the developer for help identifying the appropriate channel.

When you contact the developer by email, the email address and message content you voluntarily provide are used to review and respond to your request. This correspondence may be retained for as long as necessary to follow up on your request and meet any applicable legal obligations.

5. Children’s privacy

The app is intended for a general audience and has a 4+ age rating on the App Store. You may use fictional names for your character and office; you do not need to enter a real name, phone number, or email address.

If you believe that a child’s personal data has been processed inappropriately, you can contact the developer at the email address provided in this policy.

6. Fictional content and player-chosen names

Estate Tycoon is a fictional real estate simulation game created for entertainment, with some elements inspired by real life.

The characters, customer conversations, events, company names, and brand-like expressions in the game are created for the gameplay experience. City, district, and region names are used to describe the game’s setting. The game is not intended to represent, target, or make claims about any real person, institution, organization, or brand. Any resemblance between fictional people or businesses and real people or businesses is coincidental.

Players can choose their own character and office names. These names are stored in the local game save. The name displayed on Game Center leaderboards is your Game Center nickname, which is managed by Apple.

7. Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are taken to protect processed information against unauthorized access, loss, and misuse.

However, no method of electronic storage or data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to provide absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app or the services it uses. The current policy and its last updated date are published on this page.
